Information is data which is much more refined that has moved forth to the point of being useful for some analysis form (Liew, 2017). Knowledge rests in the user and happens when human insight and experience is applied to information and data. Very few people would question the fact that information can be represented as objects outside of the human mind and made tangible.
On the other hand, knowledge is an entity that is much more elusive – while it is seen as an object by some, others regard it as a representation or interpretation that is renegotiated constantly. If data is added, there gets to be both challenging and intricate situation of interrelated and intertwined concepts (Shafiezadeh, 2011).
